Urbane has taken restaurant training to the next level. Over the course of several weeks, our core associates participate in an intense, challenging, and informative experience. We introduce associates to vendors like Macrina Bakery, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Red Hook and Charlie’s produce. We enlist the help of our producers who conduct training on site. Featured presenters have included Armandino from Salumi, Julie from River Valley, Jeremy the Forager, Pacific Seafood and Rockridge. All of this has allowed our team to become experts on Urbane food, wine and service style.
New associates enjoy the same training experience as our charter staff. Food shows, role playing and a ten day training plan are tools that we use to keep consistency in our standards.
